Paul Duerden of London, Ont., added 17 kills and a service ace for Canada 1.

``Fred (Winters) was out with a back injury and Terry Martin came through for us tonight despite not being with us for most of the summer and not knowing our systems that well,'' said Canadian head coach Gleen Hoag.
Canada 2 defeated Argentina 25-22, 25-19, 19-25, 19-25, 15-8 in the bronze-medal match.
