Ukraine's match against Scotland is a chance for the team to prove it deserves a place at the 2008 European Championship.
Ukraine, which reached the quarter-finals at this year's World Cup, has one win and one loss from its two Group B matches. Scotland, which leads the group with a perfect nine points, visits Wednesday.
``If we want to get to Euro 2008, we should prove it,'' Ukraine coach Oleh Blokhin said Tuesday. ``There will be no other chance.''
World Cup champion Italy, which beat Ukraine 2-0 Saturday, and runner-up France are also in the group. But Blokhin's attention is focused only on Scotland, which he called a ``good, solid, dangerous team that leads the group by right, with perfect discipline and good battle quality.''
``It would be very difficult to break their defense,'' Blokhin added.
Ukraine forward Andriy Shevchenko, who missed Saturday's match with a virus, is expected to be back Wednesday.
``He has probably recovered,'' Blokhin said.
Forward Olexiy Belik, who also missed the match against Italy, will again be out of action with a thigh muscle injury. Defender Volodymyr Yezerskiy is suspended because of yellow cards.
Other injury concerns include midfielders Anatoliy Tymoshchuk and Andriy Husin.
Scotland defender Steven Whittaker, who has never played for the national team, made the trip because Christian Dailly is suspended and Russell Anderson is injured.
Forward Kenny Miller, who missed Saturday's 1-0 win over France through suspension, will be back in the team, but striker Garry O'Connor has been dropped.
