Turkey's Trabzonspor fired coach Sebastiao Lazaroni on Thursday.
In a message posted on the team's website, president Nuri Albayrak said Trabzonspor had terminated the former Brazil coach's contract and was appointing Ziya Dogan, ``who knows Trabzonspor well.''
Dogan coached Trabzonspor four years ago before leaving in a dispute with the club's previous management.
The Black Sea side has won only one of its four league games this season. Lazaroni, who joined the team in June on a three-year contract, reportedly failed to win over Trabzonspor executives and players.
Lazaroni coached Brazil in 1990 and Jamaica in 2004. His previous clubs also include Istanbul side Fenerbahce.
