Beenhakker calls up two replacements for European Championship qualifiers

Poland coach Leo Beenhakker called up midfielder Piotr Giza and defender Krzysztof Lagiewka for European Championship qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Portugal.

Centre back Mariusz Jop withdrew from the squad Wednesday with a knee injury, while midfielder Jacek Krzynowek will miss Saturday's match at Kazakhstan but could be fit to play Portugal on Oct. 11.

Forward Ireneusz Jelen and defender Arkadiusz Glowacki have leg injuries and will miss both games.
