AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP)_ Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored four goals and Markus Rosenberg hit two as Ajax beat RBC Roosendaal 6-0 in the Dutch League on Sunday.
PSV, which hosts Olympique Lyon in the Champions League on Tuesday, beat Vitesse Arnhem 3-1 to retain the league lead with 63 points from 25 games, five points clear of second-place Feyenoord. AZ Alkmaar is third on 55 after losing at home 3-2 to Utrecht. Ajax climbed to fourth with 43 points.
Huntelaar put Ajax ahead with a header in the third minute and Rosenberg doubled the lead after 28 minutes, profiting from a close-range rebound.
In the second half, Huntelaar, the Eredivisie's leading goal scorer, had a hat trick inside twelve minutes.
Huntelaar, who now has 23 goals for the season, headed a Urby Emanuelson corner in the 83rd minute to complete his hat trick before Mauro Rosales picked up Rosenberg, who netted from close range.
At Rotterdam, Nick Hofs scored twice in the first half and Feyenoord beat neighbour Spart Rotterdam 4-0.
Also Sunday, Willem II beat NAC Breda 2-0 and ADO The Hague won 3-1 at Heracles Almelo.
On Saturday, it was Roda JC 2, SC Heerenveen 1; FC Groningen 1, RKC Waalwijk 0.
In Friday's other game, FC Twente beat NEC Nijmegen 3-0.
At Rotterdam, Dirk Kuyt was inspirational as Feyenoord secured its 18th win of the season. Kuyt set up Hofs for Feyenoord's opener before collecting Salomon Kalou's pass in the 51st minute to increase Feyenoord's lead.
Earlier, Jonathan de Guzman released Hofs on the right in the 36th minute and the midfielder cleverly lobbed past Sparta keeper Rene Ponk.
Substitute Ali Boussaboun scored off a deflected shot two minutes from time.
At Alkmaar, Utrecht dominated to lead 3-0 at half time. After scoring Utrecht's first goal earlier in the match, Leen van Steensel scored an own goal to give AZ hope.
Six minutes later, Danny Koevermans made it 3-2, capitalizing on sloppy defending from Utrecht. But the equalizer never came, and AZ suffered its first home loss of the year.
The result will hurt AZ's chances of catching PSV and Feyenoord. The team must also overcome last Wednesday's 2-0 first-leg loss to Real Betis when the teams meet again in the UEFA Cup on Thursday.
In PSV's win Friday, Jefferson Farfan scored twice and Michael Lamey added another.
