Substitute David Trezeguet scored two goals Wednesday to help France beat the Faeroe Islands 5-0 in a European Championship qualifier.
Louis Saha, Nicolas Anelka and Thierry Henry also scored as France bounced back from Saturday's 1-0 loss to Scotland.
France and Scotland have nine points in Group B from four matches. Italy is third with seven.
Les Bleus wasted several chances against a team 177 places below it in FIFA rankings.
Saha's goal after 36 seconds was the second fastest in France's history, two seconds slower than Franck Sauzee in 1991 against Albania in a European qualifier.
Henry has 38 international goals, within three of Michel Platini's French record. Trezeguet is third with 34.
Midfielder Jeremy Toulalan and defender Julien Escude made their France debuts, while William Gallas and Saha returned to the lineup.
Trezeguet, disappointing against Scotland, was dropped to the bench, while midfielder Claude Makelele (ankle) and defender Eric Abidal (thigh) were rested.
Sagnol's cross from the right in the first minute reached Henry, who then headed the ball across goal to Saha, who tapped into an empty net for his fourth international goal.
Henry made it 2-0 in the 22nd when he rolled the ball over the line from three yards, after collecting Saha's pass.
Toulalan, Florent Malouda and Henry went close to adding further goals in the opening 25 minutes.
Goalkeeper Jakup Mikkelsen blocked Saha's shot in the 37th, and got a hand to another shot from Saha from 30 yards seconds later.
Henry almost doubled his tally before halftime, latching onto a 50-yard pass from Patrick Vieira and poking the ball wide.
Henry then somehow missed a header from two yards after a perfect cross from Sagnol.
He did convert in the 56th, following up a shot from Jeremy Toulalan to sidefoot home, but the goal was ruled offside _ France's fourth disallowed goal in qualifying.
Malouda curled over a free kick in the 58th, then Henry was tackled just as he prepared to shoot.
Domenech replaced Henry and Saha with Anelka and Trezeguet in the 61st.
Anelka shot over from 20 yards, but France became frustrated as 11 Faeroe Islands players defended inside their own half to limit the damage.
The resistance finally ended and Anelka scored his eighth international goal from close range after Gallas nodded on a corner, and Trezeguet bundled home Sagnol's cross.
He then rounded the goalkeeper and tapped into an empty net after following up Malouda's saved shot.
