A first-half goal by Milos Maric helped Olympiakos Piraeus beat Iraklis 1-0 and increase its lead in the Greek league on Sunday.
With six wins from as many games, the defending champion leads the standings with 18 points, five ahead of Panathinaikos, which salvaged a 3-3 draw at OFI after trailing 3-0 midway through the second half.
Maric scored from a free kick in the 25th minute. Olympiakos controlled possession and could have added more goals from Michalis Konstantinou, Nery Castillo and Yiannis Okkas.
Iraklis was reduced to 10 men in the 62nd when Grigoris Papazaharias was red-carded but almost scored on two occasions when Joel Epalle went close in the 70th and 74th.
In Crete, OFI led 2-0 on Goran Drulic's penalty kick in the 22nd and Peter Oforoquaye's goal a minute later. Minas Pitsos extended the host's lead in the 57th. Andreas Ivanschitz pulled a goal back for Panathinaikos in the 63rd and added another in the 67th to trail by only one. Dimitris Salpingidis levelled with an overhead kick in the 81st.
Also on Sunday, it was: Kerkyra 2, Ionikos 0; Larissa 1, Xanthi 0; Egaleo 0 Atromitos 0 and PAOK 1, Apollon 1.
