Germany international Odonkor has knee operation

Germany winger David Odonkor had an operation Tuesday to fix dislocated cartilage in his right knee.

``David will likely have to stay in the hospital until next week,'' his agent Kon Schramm said Tuesday.

Odonkor will be sidelined for about three months. He joined Real Betis from Borussia Dortmund after playing for Germany at the World Cup.
