BARCELONA, Spain (AP) _ Thierry Henry has completed his move to
FC Barcelona after passing a medical exam.
``I'm really pleased to be here, it's been a long chase but I'm
finally here ... and can't wait to show what I can do for the
fans,'' Henry said Monday at a news conference at Barcelona.
``Hopefully I can be a great asset to the team.''
The former Arsenal striker underwent medical tests at Barcelona
Hospital and continued them at the Camp Nou stadium with no signs of
health issues, the club said.
``There are definitely no problems, everything is in order,''
team doctor Ricard Prune said. ``Henry is not showing any signs of
injury or aftereffects that would keep him from being incorporated
into the team.''
Barcelona paid 24 million euros (C$34 million) for Henry, in a
four-year deal.
