The coach has fallen out with Vikash Dhorasso, players are fighting each other and the club has dropped down the standings _ the problems are mounting for Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG is in a disappointing 13th place ahead of Sunday's match at Saint-Etienne and pressure on coach Guy Lacombe is mounting.
``Let's not fool ourselves. We are a long way off from our level,'' PSG winger Jerome Rothen told Infosport television on Thursday. ``We must not get stuck on the relations between the coach and the players. What counts is winning.''
While Lacombe and Dhorasoo have traded insults in the French press, Bernard Mendy and Bonaventure Kalou traded blows Monday at training.
``These are things that happen in every club,'' Rothen said. ``The difference is that it stays within the group at most clubs. At PSG it comes out into the open.''
PSG president Alain Cayzac has summoned Dhorasoo to a meeting and could fire him for remarks made about Lacombe.
In an interview with sports daily L'Equipe, Dhorasoo accused Lacombe of inventing injuries to the press to keep him sidelined, and claimed Lacombe abandoned a training session when he turned up.
Lacombe called Dhorasoo's comments ``very grave, professional errors'' and insisted he is not selected because of poor performances.
``Do I have to explain it in Latin? In Greek? He's not playing because he's not been good enough,'' Lacombe retorted through L'Equipe.
Last season, PSG was beset by internal and external problems, including a violent feud between rival PSG hooligan groups. That feud appears to be appeased, but internal problems appear far from over.
On Saturday, it's: Sochaux vs. Lyon; Lille vs. Nice; Lorient vs. Troyes; Monaco vs. Le Mans; Sedan vs. Rennes, and Valenciennes vs. Bordeaux.
In Sunday's other games, it's: Auxerre vs. Nantes; Marseille vs. Toulouse, and Nancy vs. Lens.
