Juninho scored two goals Sunday to help Lyon extend its winning streak to 11 matches in all competitions with a 4-1 victory at Marseille in the French league.
Substitute Karim Benzema and Kim Kallstrom also scored for Lyon, which leads the league with 28 points _ eight more than second-place Marseille. Habib Bamogo scored a consolation goal for the hosts.
Juninho curled in a free kick from 20 yards in the 20th minute after Lorik Cana was cautioned for fouling Sidney Govou.
The Brazil midfielder, who has scored 30 free kicks since joining Lyon five years ago, scored a similar goal against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Juninho almost scored another free kick in the 37th, but Marseille goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso made a two-fisted save.
Lyon took control of the first half, and France winger Florent Malouda's shot from 30 yards forced Carrasso into another solid save.
Fred had a chance to score for Lyon in the second minute after Kallstrom hit the post, but his missed from close range. Midway though the first half, Fred limped off with a suspected muscle strain and was replaced by Benzema.
Benzema scored in the 48th, after Marseille defender Taye Taiwo was red-carded.
Juninho added his second in the 78th and Kallstrom scored in the 87th for Lyon, which is looking for a sixth straight league title.
Only Toulouse has taken a point off Lyon this season.
Also Sunday, Auxerre drew 0-0 with visiting Paris Saint-Germain in a dull match with few chances.
PSG's David Rozenhal went close with a header in the eighth minute, but neither side managed to take control of the game.
Both teams moved up one place, Auxerre to 12th and PSG to 13th.
