Mills on loan to Hull

Former England international Danny Mills has moved on loan to Hull, hoping to rescue his career.

The 29-year-old Mills moved from Premier League team Manchester City on Thursday on a two-month loan. Mills, a right back, has fallen out of favour with Man City manager Stuart Pearce.

``I was told fairly categorically that I wasn't going to play at Manchester City,'' Mills said. ``I'm no different to any other player. I want to play regular first-team football and I'm very grateful to Hull for giving me that opportunity.''
