Manchester City's Barton fined for dropping his shorts in front of fans

Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton was fined 2,000 pounds (C$4,200) and given a warning Tuesday for dropping his shorts in front of rival fans after a Premier League game.

Barton had admitted a Football Association charge of improper conduct. Barton, who has a history of disciplinary problems, exposed his backside to Everton's fans after the Sept. 30 draw 1-1 at Goodison Park.
