Iran midfielder Andranik Teymourian signed a two-year contract with Bolton on Wednesday after securing a work permit.
The Premier League club signed the 23-year-old defensive midfielder from Iran's Abu Moslem for an undisclosed fee.
Teymourian played 11 times for Iran including three games at this year's World Cup.
``He impressed a lot of people during the World Cup and I'm delighted that we've beaten . . . a lot of competition to get his signature,'' Bolton manager Sam Allardyce said.
