Denmark to play friendly against Israel in Tel Aviv

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) _ Denmark will play Israel as planned in a friendly next month, despite security concerns related to anti-Danish protests over the Prophet Muhammad cartoons.

Denmark coach Morten Olsen said Tuesday the March 1 friendly in Tel Aviv would go ahead as scheduled.

The Danish soccer federation said two weeks ago it was considering cancelling the game because of violent protests against Denmark in the Middle East.
