Aston Villa striker Milan Baros has returned to the Czech national team for the 2008 European Championship qualifiers against San Marino and Ireland.
Hamburger SV midfielder David Jarolim and Ajax defender Zdenek Grygera are also back after injury in the 21-man squad named by Czech Republic coach Karel Bruckner on Thursday.
A lingering foot injury limited Baros at the World Cup in Germany, where the Czech Republic was eliminated in the group stage.
Baros also missed the opening two matches of the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign earlier this month when the Czechs beat Wales 2-1 and Slovakia 3-0.
The Czech Republic hosts San Marino on Oct. 7 in Liberec and travels to Dublin to face Ireland on Oct. 11.
Goalkeeper Marek Cech, who has conceded just one goal in eight games in the Czech first division for Liberec this season, was selected for the first time. Chelsea's Petr Cech is the country's No. 1 goalkeeper.
The Czechs will be missing Bordeaux attacking midfielder Vladimir Smicer, out with a long-term hamstring injury.
Veterans Pavel Nedved and Karel Poborsky are also absent after they retired from international soccer following the World Cup.
Germany and Cyprus are the other teams in Group D.
