Kevin Jeffrey's hat trick powers Lynx to 5 0 blowout win over Thunder

Kevin Jeffrey scored a hat trick to help the Toronto Lynx blow out the Minnesota Thunder Sunday evening and finish the season on a winning note.

A Thunder own goal and a goal by Damien Pottinger rounded out the scoring for the Lynx, which finished the season 8-12-8 for 32 points after starting the season winless in 11 games.

Toronto finished 10th in the 12-team league and missed the playoffs for the sixth straight season. The club has made the playoffs only twice in its 10-year history.
