The Silverbacks got one back in the 33rd minute. David Hayes' free kick was partially blocked by the wall, but Buete jumped on the rebound and beat Impact goalkeeper Andrew Weber with a low shot.
Ze Roberto restored Montreal's two-goal lead in the 65th minute when streaked down the left wing and centred the ball to Ribeiro, whose low shot beat Quintero to his right.
Montreal capped the scoring in the 90th minute. Salles took a low shot to the near post, from 15 yards out, that caught Quintero by surprise.
