Canadian men's soccer coach Stephen Hart will field a veteran lineup when his team goes for its second straight victory over Jamaica.
Canada, looking to stretch its unbeaten streak to five games, takes on the Reggae Boyz in Kingston, Jamaica on Oct. 8.
Rob Friend, who plays for Heerenveen in the Dutch League and was the lone goal-scorer in Canada's 1-0 win over Jamaica last month in Montreal, returns. He'll be joined by veteran striker Tomasz Radzinski (Fulham), defender Kevin McKenna (Energie Cottbus), and midfielders Paul Stalteri (Tottenham Hotspur), and Julian de Guzman (Deportivo La Coruna).
``Playing in Jamaica will obviously be very different from recent games we have played,'' Hart said in a release. ``The climate must be considered and at home Jamaica, with their passionate supporters, has proven difficult for most opposition. However it's a challenge I'm sure the team looks forward too.''
The Canadian team heads to Europe next month, facing a strong Hungarian team in Budapest on Nov. 15.
