Brazil manager Dunga said he is pleased with his start as head of the national team, which remains unbeaten in five matches since he took over following the team's World Cup elimination.
Before Tuesday's 2-1 friendly victory over Ecuador, Brazil drew with Norway and beat archrival Argentina, Wales and the Kuwait Sports Club.
``We drew a Norway team that Brazil has beaten only once. We defeated Argentina categorically, beat a Wales squad which always creates problems against us, and now Ecuador, which is a team that has been progressing and is well-prepared technically and physically,'' Dunga said. ``Only Kuwait wasn't a significant opponent.''
Dunga has been revamping the national team, introducing several younger players, leaving regulars Ronaldo and Adriano off the squad, and requiring Ronaldinho and Kaka to fight for a spot in the starting lineup.
``Players are understanding that team spirit is important,'' Dunga told the Brazilian soccer confederation's website.
``Dunga has made it clear that he will give opportunities to everybody,'' Ronaldinho said. ``He is acting with transparency. It's the way we like to be treated. We can't complain about playing or not playing.''
Brazil drew Norway 1-1 in Oslo in August, then beat Argentina 3-0 and Wales 2-0 in London in September, and Kuwait Sports Club 4-0 in Kuwait City on Saturday.
Brazil will face Switzerland on Nov. 15 in Basel, Switzerland, in the team's last match of the year.
Dunga, Brazil's captain when it won the 1994 World Cup in the United States, was installed as manager after the World Cup despite having no coaching experience. He replaced Carlos Alberto Parreira, who quit to coach South Africa, host of the 2010 tournament.
Brazil was eliminated in Germany in a 1-0 loss to eventual runner-up France in the quarter-finals.
