Franck Montagny has signed with Toyota as third
driver for the 2007 Formula One season, the Japanese team said
Wednesday.
The 28-year-old Frenchman's move from Super Aguri, another
Japanese team, comes as Toyota test drivers Ricardo Zonta and
Olivier Panis head to Renault and into retirement, respectively.
``Franck is an experienced driver who knows the tracks and has a
strong and successful record of developing Formula 1 cars,'' Toyota
team chief Tsutomu Tomita said in a statement.
