Felipe Massa and Rubens Barrichello will try to end a decade-long drought for the home crowd at the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday.
Local fans haven't celebrated a victory in the Brazilian GP since 1993, when three-time champion Ayrton Senna won at Interlagos in a McLaren-Ford.
Barrichello came closest while driving for Ferrari, finishing third two years ago in his best result in 12 tries.
He is not confident about this race.
``Obviously I don't come here having a car that I know I can win with, so that means a little bit less pressure, but that's less happy,'' Barrichello said.
Massa, now with Ferrari, may be the Brazilian with the best chance. He won his first Formula One race in Turkey two months ago and has had five podium finishes this season.
``I have a chance to win,'' Massa said. ``The initial goal is to help (Michael) Schumacher, but anything can happen. It would be nice to hear the crowd. It gives me even more motivation.''
Massa is third in the championship, one point ahead of Renault's Giancarlo Fisichella.
