Carey Price stopped all 27 shots for his first shutout of the season and the Tri-City Americans beat the Prince George Cougars 3-0 in Western Hockey League action Friday.

Tanner Gillies, Colton Yellow Horn and Drew Hoff scored for the Americans (8-2-0-0), who are undefeated at home. Rookie defenceman Tyler Schmidt assisted on all three goals.

Real Cyr had 26 save for the Cougars (4-6-0-2), who have lost four in a row.
