Paille and Brandon Smith each contributed a goal and an assist as
the Rochester Americans scored four unanswered goals in the third
period to down the Manitoba Moose 6-3 in AHL action Sunday night.
Michael Ryan and Dylan Hunter scored in the second period for
Rochester (2-0-0), which moved into top spot in the North Division.
Yannick Tremblay and Brad Moran scored power-play goals for Manitoba
(1-2-1), with Nathan Smith adding the other goal for the Moose.
Manitoba goalie Julien Ellis blocked 31 shots, while Craig
Anderson made 17 saves for the Americans.
Rochester converted three of 11 power-play chances and the Moose
scored twice on 10 opportunities.
