Martin Hanzal scored twice and added two
assists Saturday to lead the Red Deer Rebels to a 6-3 Western Hockey
League win over the Kamloops Blazers Saturday.
Kirill Starkov also notched two goals for Red Deer (5-2-2-1),
with Brett Sutter and Dustin Moore adding singles.
Scoring for Kamloops (4-3-1-1), which led 3-1 after one period
but trailed 4-3 after 40 minutes, were Ray Macias, Juuso Puustinen
and Brock Nixon.
Rebels rookie netminder Morgan Clark made 30 saves, while Dustin
Butler stopped 19 shots for the Blazers.
