round of the shootout to lift the Tigers to a 3-2 victory over the
Seattle Thunderbirds in Western Hockey League action Saturday.
The Tigers scored three times in four tries in the shootout while
winning goaltender Matt Keetley stopped two of Seattle's four
shooters and finished with 26 saves.

League action Friday.
Kris Russell, Brennan Bosch, Darren Helm, Jordan Bendfeld and
Chris Stevens added one apiece for the Tigers (9-3-0-0).
Chris Francis put away two for Portland (3-6-0-0), while Kyle
Bailey and Nicholas Hotson had one each.
Ryan Holfeld had 33 saves for the win, while Kurtis Mucha stopped
