Craig Cuthbert scored twice, including an
empty-net marker with one minute remaining, as the Kelowna Rockets
defeated the Chilliwack Bruins 5-2 in Western Hockey League action
Friday.
Mark Santorelli, with his fifth of the season, and Josh
Aspenlind,
with his first, scored for Chilliwack (1-10-1-0), whose only win of
the season came against Kelowna, 3-1 in season-opening action on
Sept. 21.
Kaspars Saulietis, Kirt Hill and Clayton Barthel replied
for Kelowna (4-6-0-2), which trailed 2-0 after the first and second
periods.
Alex Archibald stopped 25 shots for the Bruins, who were outshot
30-27. Kris Westblom made 25 saves for the Rockets.
