Goaltender Dustin Butler posted his second
shutout of the season Saturday as the Kamloops Blazers blanked the
Kelowna Rockets 3-0 in Western Hockey League action.
Butler turned aside 14 shots in running his record to 4-1-0-0
since being acquired from the Portland Winter Hawks on Oct. 3.
Matt Schmermund, C.J. Stretch and Reid Jorgensen scored for the
Blazers (6-3-1-1).
Goaltender Kris Westblom stopped 23 shots for the Rockets
(4-7-0-2).

Western Hockey League action Saturday.

The Kootenay Ice scored four power-play
goals in a 5-1 win over the Kelowna Rockets in Western Hockey League
action Saturday.
Ice (1-6-0-1) forward Ben Maxwell and defenceman Chad Greenan
each had three assists.
Clayton Bauer, Tylan Stephens, Arnaud Jacquemet, Steve DaSilva
and Dustin Sylvester scored for Kootenay. Taylor Dakers stopped 19
shots.
The Rockets lone goal was from Kirt Hill. The Rockets (3-3-0-0)

Kris Hogg scored his league-leading
eighth and ninth goals to lead the Lethbridge Hurricanes to a 4-0
shutout victory over the Kelowna Rockets Friday night in Western
Hockey League action.
Hogg, who has yet to notch an assist, had goals in each of the
