Kyle Beach had a goal and an assist as the
Everett Silvertips held off the Portland Winter Hawks 3-2 in Western
Hockey League action Saturday.
Peter Mueller and Jason Fransoo also scored and Zach Hamill added
two assists for Everett (6-1-0-1).
Hamill has points in all eight of Everett's games this season.
David Reekie, in his first start for Everett since arriving from
Regina via trade earlier in the week, made 19 saves in goal for the
Silvertips.
Colton Sceviour and Viktor Sjodin scored for Portland (3-4-0-0),
which made it a game after falling behind 3-0 after two periods.
Kurtis Mucha finished with 27 saves.
