Everett Silvertips blank Seattle Thunderbirds 3 0

Kyle Beach scored two goals and Leland Irving made 41 saves, leading the Everett Silvertips to a 3-0 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.

Jonathan Harty added a goal and two assists for Everett (5-0-0-1), which bounced back one night after suffering its first loss of the season.

Irving registered his second shutout of the season.

Everett has given up just five goals in six games this season.

Derek Yeomans had 23 saves in net for Seattle (1-2-0-2), which outshot Everett 41-26.
