Alexandre Imbeault scored a pair of goals and the Victoriaville Tigres used a strong power-play performance to beat the Drummondville Voltigeurs 5-2 in QMJHL action Tuesday.
Both of Imbeault's goals came with the man advantage as the Tigres (5-2-0-0) finished with four power-play goals in 13 chances en route to their fourth straight win. Maxim Noreau added a goal and an assist for Victoriaville, while Keven Guerette-Charland and Jan Kolarik had singles.
Etienne Bellavance-Martin and Francis Charette countered for the Voltigeurs (4-4-0-0), who have dropped two straight. Drummondville went just 2-for-10 with the man advantage but outshot the Tigres 32-22.
Jean-Christophe Blanchard was the difference for Victoriaville, making 30 saves. Pierre-Alexandre Marion stopped 17 shots for the Voltigeurs.
