Remparts forward Brent Aubin named CHL player of the week

Quebec Remparts forward Brent Aubin is the Canadian Hockey League's player of the week after recording nine goals and five assists in four games.

Aubin opened the week with six points in a 6-2 win against Chicoutimi then added five points in an 8-7 win over the Shawinigan Cataractes. Following those multi-point games, Aubin had a goal in a 7-3 win over Drummondville then closed out the week with a goal and an assist in a 4-2 loss to Lewiston.

Sam Gagner of the London Knights, Andrew Perugini of the Barrie Colts, Andrew Clark of the Brandon Wheat Kings, Taylor Dakers of the Kootenay Ice and Patrik Prokop of Shawinigan were also considered for the honour.
