Keven Petit scored his second goal of the game 2:41 into overtime to lift the Gatineau Olympiques to a 9-8 win over the Rimouski Oceanic in a wild Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game Thursday.
Rimouski trailed 7-2 at one point in the second period before mounting a comeback.
Viatcheslav Trukhno had a goal and four assists, Claude Giroux and Matthew Pistilli each added two goals while Martin Frechette and Benoit Gervais also scored for the Olympiques (9-1-0-1).
Jordan Caron replied with two goals and two assists while Patrice Cormier and Maxime Tanguay each scored twice and David Skokan and Pierre-Alexandre Joncas added singles for the Oceanic (1-6-3-0).
Israel Bernier-Dion stopped 22 shots for the win, while Tommy Legault and Michael Chiasson combined for 47 saves at the other end.
