Ontario Hockey League action Friday.
Dustin Jeffrey and Brandon Biggers added for the Greyhounds
(5-5-0-2), who got 16 saves from Kyle Gajewski.
Shawn Matthias and Nick Pageau put away one apiece for Belleville
(7-4-0-0). Kevin Lalande stopped 30 shots in the loss.

Bryan Little got four points as the
Barrie Colts downed the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 6-2 in Ontario
Hockey League action Saturday.
Daniel Minor and Hunter Tremblay also scored for the Colts
(7-1-0-1), who got 22 saves from Andrew Perugini.
Cody Thornton and Dustin Jeffrey scored for Sault Ste. Marie
(4-5-0-2). Kyle Gajewski stopped 23 shots in the loss.

Devin DiDiomete scored the winning
goal to help the Sudbury Wolves beat the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds
2-1 in the lone OHL game Wednesday.
Jared Staal also scored for the Wolves (4-5-0-0).
Brandon MacLean had the only goal for the Greyhounds (4-3-0-2).
Sudbury goaltender Kevin Beech made 25 saves, while Kyle Gajewski
stopped 12 shots.

The Oshawa Generals won their first game of
the season, a 4-3 shootout victory over the Sault Ste. Marie
Greyhounds in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.
Vaclav Meidl scored the shootout winner and two in regulation for
the Generals (1-4-0-0). Kyle Paige added for Oshawa, who got 23
saves from Carlo DiRienzo.
Cody Thornton, Dustin Jeffrey and David Kuchejda put away one
apiece for the Greyhounds (4-2-0-2). Matt Hache made 39 saves for
the visitors.

Cody Thornton and Sean Jones had shootout goals as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds rallied for a 4-3 win over the Barrie Colts on Thursday in the Ontario Hockey League.
With the shootout tied 1-1, Jones beat Colts netminder Andrew Perugini to put the Greyhounds ahead. Vladimir Nikiforov had a chance to tie for Barrie, but he couldn't solve winning goalie Kyle Gajewski.

in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.
Trevor Kell, Mark Catic, Mike Roelofsen and Steven Stamkos each
added one for the Sting (3-1-0-0), who got 27 saves from Parker
VanBuskirk.
Dustin Jeffrey scored two for Sault Ste. Marie (2-2-0-1), along
with Josh Godfrey, who put away one. Kyle Gajewski stopped 19 shots
for the Greyhounds.

Goaltender Michal Neuvirth stopped 45 shots and added three more in the shootout as the Plymouth Whalers defeated the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 5-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday.
"It was my first time ever playing in a game with the penalty shootout," said Czech native Neuvirth, a 2007 second round selection of the Washington Capitals, through an interpreter. "I was not nervous at all, it was fun."
