Oshawa grabs first victory of season, 4 3 over Sault Ste. Marie

The Oshawa Generals won their first game of the season, a 4-3 shootout victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.

Vaclav Meidl scored the shootout winner and two in regulation for the Generals (1-4-0-0). Kyle Paige added for Oshawa, who got 23 saves from Carlo DiRienzo.

Cody Thornton, Dustin Jeffrey and David Kuchejda put away one apiece for the Greyhounds (4-2-0-2). Matt Hache made 39 saves for the visitors.
