The Kingston Frontenacs scored five goals
in just over ten minutes to beat the Brampton Batallion 7-4 in
Ontario Hockey League action Friday.
Giving up two goals in the last 40 seconds of the first period,
Kingston stormed back with five unanswered goals in the second,
including four in a 4:13 span at the end of the period. This chased
Battalion starter Bryan Pitton from the nets.
Nathan Moon, Peder Skinner, Cory Emmerton, Bobby Hughes and Chris
Stewart all scored between 8:59 and 19:27 of the second period.
Bobby Bolt and Tony Rizzi also registered goals for the
Frontenacs (3-1-0-1), who got 39 saves out of Daryl Borden.
Howie Martin, Graham McNabb, Justin Levac and Cody Hodgson scored
for the Batallion (3-1-1-1). Pitton made 18 saves, while his
replacement, Aaron Rock, made three.
