Bryan Little and Vladimir Nikiforov had two goals apiece as the Barrie Colts defeated the Toronto-St. Michael's Majors 6-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.
Little also had an assist, while Hunter Tremblay added the Colt's (9-2-0-1) other goal.
The Colts led 4-2 after one period, and were up 6-2 in the second period, but the Majors scored twice later in the frame to pull within two.
The Colts' team defence and goalie Andrew Perugini shut the Majors down in the third period.
``We didn't have a good second period and let them back into the game,'' Little said. ``We came out (in the third period) and played so hard and played good defense.''
A struggling Colt powerplay also found life with three goals in the game. ``We were moving the puck around faster, shooting it more and getting the shots on net,'' said Little.
Cassidy Preston, Justin Donati, Micheal Haley and Jason Cassidy scored for Toronto (7-7-0-0).
Andrew Perugini had 30 saves for the win, while Wayne Savage stopped 43 shots at the other end.
