The Barrie Colts and the Erie Otters went
through four goalies Saturday, but it was the home team who emerged
victorious in a tight 8-7 win in Ontario Hockey League action
Saturday.
Hunter Tremblay and Andrew Marshall racked up two goals each,
while Kris Sparre, Matthieu Methot, Vladimir Nikiforov and Bryan
Little had one apiece for Barrie (4-1-0-1). Jake Fischer stopped 16
shots and allowed five goals before being replaced by Andrew
Perugini, who faced seven shots and let in two goals.
Ryan Ludzik let six goals get past him in the first period and
stopped 14 shots for Erie (1-4-0-2). He was replaced by Jeff Dawson
who allowed two goals and faced 34 shots.
Nick Palmieri and Kelly Geoffrey scored twice each for Erie,
while Luke Gazdic, Ryan O'Marra, and Sean O'Connor added for the
losers.
