Philadelphia Flyers centre Peter Forsberg hurts left wrist, X rays negative

Philadelphia Flyers centre Peter Forsberg jammed his left wrist in the first period of Thursday night's game with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

A team official said X-rays were negative, but Forsberg was expected to miss the rest of the game.

The Philadelphia captain, who has two goals and six points in seven games this season, was hurt when used his arm to brace himself against the boards. Forsberg has 237 goals and 585 assists in 647 career NHL games.
