Blue Jackets centre Alexander Svitov activated from injured list

The Columbus Blue Jackets activated centre Alexander Svitov off injured reserve on Saturday.

Svitov, the third overall pick in the 2001 draft, injured his shoulder in a pre-season game against Carolina two weeks ago.

In 103 NHL games with Tampa Bay and Columbus, Svitov has six goals, 13 assists and 19 poiunts.
