Boston Bruins recall defenceman Mark Stuart from AHL Providence

The Boston Bruins recalled defenceman Mark Stuart from their AHL affiliate in Providence before playing the Florida Panthers on Monday.

Stuart, the team's first-round pick in the 2003 draft, has been recovering from off-season knee surgery. He was assigned to Providence on Nov. 7 and had a goal and three assists in four games.

Stuart had one goal and an assist in 17 games for the Bruins last year, and four goals and three assists in 60 games for Providence.
