Furyk moves to No. 2 in world rankings after winning Canadian Open

Jim Furyk's victory at the Canadian Open has moved the American to No. 2 in the world rankings, his highest position ever.

Furyk beat Bart Bryant by a stroke Sunday in Ancaster, Ont.

Tiger Woods remains No. 1 in the rankings.

Australian Adam Scott moved up one spot to No. 5 after defeating South Africa's Ernie Els in a playoff at the Singapore Open.

And Bradley Dredge of Wales vaulted 27 places to No. 64 after winning the European Masters.

Canadians Stephen Ames and Mike Weir ranks 32nd and 37th, respectively.
