Jim Furyk wins Canadian Open

Jim Furyk has won the Canadian Open by one stroke.

Furyk shot a 5-under 65 in his final round to finish at 14-under 266 at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club.

Bart Bryant shot a 3-under 67 to finish a stroke back.

Sean O'Hair and Jonathan Byrd were two strokes back at 12-under after carding 68s in the final round.

Bryant had a chance to force a playoff but was unable to make his 70-foot birdie putt on No. 18 and had to settle for second place.

The top Canadian was David Hearn of Brantford, Ont. He shot a final-round 68 to finish tied for 20th at 5-under.
