Cincinnati Bengals running back Chris Perry left the game with a leg injury that turned out to be a broken bone. San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore went out, too, but returned on a leg that appeared to be OK.

And New England Patriots linebacker Junior Seau left Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears with an injury to his right arm, but what it is _ and how long it might keep him out _ is anybody's guess.

Perry got his legs rolled on by Browns linebacker Andra Davis as he was being tackled on a 10-yard run during the Bengals' 30-0 win over Cleveland on Sunday. A third-year backup from Michigan, Perry stayed on the field for several minutes before being taken to the locker room for X-rays.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said Perry broke a bone in his leg and will have a screw surgically inserted. Lewis did not disclose which bone was broken. Perry has rushed for 57 yards on 10 carries this season.

Frank Gore rolled his right ankle in the fourth quarter of San Francisco's 20-17 loss in St. Louis, but coach Mike Nolan described the injury as a bruise. He was taken for X-rays after the game and again before the 49ers left town.

In Foxborough, Mass., Seau went to the turf with just under nine minutes left in the second quarter after tackling Cedric Benson. He walked off after a few minutes, waving to the cheering fans with his left hand while a trainer held his right arm still for him.

The team initially reported that the 12-time Pro Bowl selection was doubtful to return. The Patriots later said he was out for the game, though they did not update the nature or severity of his injury.

And there's little chance that they will, if New England sticks to its usual practice of staying mum on injuries.

The Patriots also lost offensive lineman Ryan O'Callaghan to a neck injury in the second quarter, and he was ruled out for the rest of the game. Bears linebacker Leon Joe left the game early in the first with a hamstring injury.

In Indianapolis on Sunday night, Colts tight end Dallas Clark limped off the field and went straight to the locker room after spraining his right knee just before halftime. The Colts announced at the start of the second half that Clark was questionable to return.

Knee injuries also sidelined Ravens linebacker Dan Cody and Steelers safety Troy Polamalu in Baltimore's 27-0 rout of Pittsburgh.

Other players who missed time Sunday due to injury were New Orleans CB DeJuan Groce (neck); St. Louis cornerback Tye Hill (quadriceps); and Browns DT Orpheus Roye (knee).
