Bills strong safety Matt Bowen could see his first action of the season when Buffalo hosts Green Bay on Sunday.
Bowen hasn't played since breaking a bone in his lower right leg in the Bills' first pre-season game against Carolina nearly three months ago. This week was the first time this season that he was not listed on the team's injury report and he participated in all practices.
``He's getting healthier every week,'' coach Dick Jauron said Friday. ``He had a fairly normal week of practice.''
A seven-year NFL veteran, Bowen signed as a free agent with Buffalo in March and was expected to compete for a starting job. Rookie first-round draft pick Donte Whitner has been the starter since Bowen was hurt.
Jauron also said that injured defensive end Ryan Denney (hamstring) and backup guard Tutan Reyes (shoulder) should be available to play against the Packers. Special teams standout Sam Aiken (hamstring) will be a game-time decision.
