Mike O'Shea achieved a rare milestone Friday
night.
The Toronto linebacker registered his 1,000th career tackle in
the third quarter of the Argonauts' game against the Saskatchewan
Roughriders.
O'Shea joined Willie Pless (1,241) and Alondra Johnson (1,084) at
the only players to achieve the honour, but the native of North Bay,
Ont., is the first Canadian to do so.
The six-foot-two, 235-pound O'Shea, in his 14th CFL season and
10th with Toronto, made the historic tackle by chasing Saskatchewan
