The accolades continue to pile up for Geroy Simon.
The B.C. Lions slotback captured his second straight offensive player of the month award Friday after recording 21 catches for 302 yards and two touchdowns in October.
Earlier this week, Simon was named the West Division nominee for the CFL's outstanding player award and is the odds-on favourite to win.
Simon helped the first-place Lions to a 3-1 record last month as he finished the season with a CFL-best 105 receptions for 1,856 yards.
Blue Bombers running back Charles Roberts, the East Division's nominee for player of the year, was also considered for the monthly offensive honour.
Toronto Argonauts defensive back Byron Parker was named the defensive player of the month while Eskimos offensive lineman Dan Comiskey earned top lineman honours and the special teams award went to Roughriders kick returner Dominique Dorsey.
Parker had three interceptions, including a 75-yard TD return that broke the single-season record for interception return yards. In 10 games this season, Parker recorded eight interceptions for 348 return yards and scored four touchdowns. Lions defensive back Korey Banks received an honourable mention.
Comiskey anchored an offensive line that helped the Eskimos rush for 685 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensive ends Gavin Walls of the Blue Bombers and Eric England of the Argos were also up for the award.
Dorsey returned 20 punts for 252 yards and seven kickoffs for 141 yards in October.
