Randall Bailey won the vacant IBA Intercontinental light welterweight title Friday night, stopping Shawn Gallegos in the eighth round. Bailey, the two-time world super-lightweight champion from Miami, improved to 34-5 with his 31st knockout. Gallegos, from Las Vegas, N.M., dropped to 16-3.
