Hugo Cazares beats Nelson Dieppa in light flyweight title fight rematch

Mexican Hugo Cazares defeated Nelson Dieppa by technical knockout in the 10th round for his fourth successful defence of the WBO light flyweight title Saturday at Hector Sola Bezares Coliseum.

In a title fight rematch, Cazares dropped Dieppa in the second round and caused bleeding above his right ear. Dieppa's face began to puff up as he stepped away from his corner to start the third round.

Cazares had defeated Dieppa to take the title in April 2005.

Cazares improved to 24-3-1 with 18 knockouts. Dieppa (24-3-2 with 13 knockouts) was ranked No. 5 by the WBO coming into the fight.
