Unbeaten super middleweights Jean Paul Mendy of France and Anthony Hanshaw advanced to the final of an IBO super middleweight tournament with convincing victories Friday. Mendy (23-0, 12 KOs), who represented France in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics, won a unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Henry Buchanan (14-1, 11 KOs).
